Candidate must have strong understanding of star-schema, OLAP and/or data-warehouse modeling concepts. Experience using an ETL tool such as Informatica, Talend, DataManager, etc. is preferred.

Candidate must demonstrate expertise in Cognos (version 8 or higher) in the capacity of model design as well as report authoring using Report Studio and Query Studio to generate both static reports (Excel and PDF) as well as interactive (dash-board).

Job Description

Senior Business Analyst required to develop the business and functional
requirements for the Exchange Traded Funds solution.
Work closely with product and operations to develop the overall blueprint

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS

Candidate must have deep ETF processing experience, and must have worked on

Must have 15+ years experience in the financial industry, specifically
servicing asset management business or financial consultants. Ability to
bridge business needs and technology development. Must have excellent
writing, oral, organizational, and negotiations skills. Candidate must
demonstrate people leadership / management skills and the ability to
influence, motivate and drive a team; strong interpersonal skills; excellent
written and verbal skills; and a team player.

Specific expertise:

- Intimate knowledge of DTCC net settlement clearing process
- Experience with index "basket" creation/dissemination and rebalancing
- May have worked for an Index provider. i.e. Standard & Poors -General
Custody and/or Fund Service experience
- Expertise in the trade processing and accounting

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

§ Creating BRD (business requirement documents)

·      3+ years practical SQL Server 2005/2008 experience
·      Proficiency in SQL
·      Proven experience working within teams to design and develop large scale, global, enterprise-wide business applications
·      Must have excellent communication skills and be able to present to all levels of the organization
·      Must be motivated to learn Analysis Services
 
Advantages:
