Responsibilities:
Manage administration and perform secretarial functions for a law firm
consisting of 3 lawyers, a bookkeeper and a part-time secretary. Work
closely with lawyers on producing extensive legal documents; handle clients
with professionalism via the phone, internet and in person. Utilize MS
Office including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel. Manage all
administrative functions including PC work, phone, supply ordering..overall
office management.
Requirements:
Must be detail-oriented, very organized, and have strong PC MS Office
skills. This individual must be very professional, articulate, must be
able to work with long documents, must be self-motivated and must take
initiative. Prefer experience from a law firm but NOT mandatory.
Requires someone who will embrace new software, possesses excellent phone
skills, and be able to maintain efficient/professional working
relationships with long-term clients.

Global manufacturing company located near Lyndhurst, N.J. is seeking a Manager Level SQL Developer in their Business Intelligence area-(Direct Hire)!
Ideal candidate will be well versed in Microsoft SQL Server development tools with a focus on Analysis Services, Reporting Services, and PerformancePoint. This role will also assists the Business Analysis team in developing functional and detailed design specifications and data models.Will interact with Purchasing, Finance and Supply Chain departments-
Responsibilities:
· Lead in the development of data delivery applications using Microsoft business intelligence tools, focused in:
o SQL Server Analysis Services
o SQL Server Reporting Services
· Provides technical expertise to functional and detailed designs.
· Demonstrates proficiency in the usage of relational and multi-dimensional database models within a business application.
· Works closely with supply chain business users and business analyst to define requirements and develop tools to support the sourcing business function.
· Engages business users, analysts, technical staff, and project team members to design, develop, implement, and enhance applications.
· Recommends optimizations and reconfigurations of physical application designs and data structures
· Works with database administrators to migrate applications from development and testing to production.
· Recommends and evaluate new tools and methodologies

· Participates in the development and maintenance of corporate data architecture, data management standards and conventions, data dictionaries and data element naming standards.
· Assists in the development of overall project plans and timetables.
Qualifications:
· Experience developing relational business applications
· 3+ years practical SQL Server 2005/2008 experience
· Proficiency in SQL
· Proven experience working within teams to design and develop large scale, global, enterprise-wide business applications
· Must have excellent communication skills and be able to present to all levels of the organization
· Must be motivated to learn Analysis Services

Candidate must have strong understanding of star-schema, OLAP and/or data-warehouse modeling concepts. Experience using an ETL tool such as Informatica, Talend, DataManager, etc. is preferred.
Candidate must demonstrate expertise in Cognos (version 8 or higher) in the capacity of model design as well as report authoring using Report Studio and Query Studio to generate both static reports (Excel and PDF) as well as interactive (dash-board) .
Preference will also be given to candidates who have skills in Cognos administration and server structure/setup, proficiency in SQL (DB2, Sybase), JAVA, Unix/Linux, and understanding of financial concepts.

Main Function
Design, develop and maintain the Prime Broker Database system.
Dimensional data modeling ( Star and Snowflake ) as needed.
Analyze, design and develop software using standard technologies, including utilizing SQL, Sever/Sybase, Perl, Java,
Informatica and Unix.
Work closely with business to understand requirements/issues and provide technical solutions.
Understand and maintain existing post load processes and Reporting processes along with working platform enhancements.
Involve a design and build of new ETL platform using Informatica Powercenter.
Work closely with Production Support team to keep application running smoothly.
Skills Required Experience in financial industry knowledge (Prime Broker and Prime Reporting is a big plus).
7+ years of experience in software development.
