Deborah Service (aka Debbie) is the Head of Service Management for the Investment & Advisory (I&A) and Enterprise Strategic Business Units at Thomson Reuters. She has direct responsibility for the change, capacity, configuration and problem management teams within I&A and Enterprise Technology Operations.
Her thirteen year tenure with Thomson Reuters is distinguished by: the integration of ex-Thomson Financial (TF) and ex-Reuters Technology Operation teams after the merger into the merged company’s ITSM initiative called One World (this initiative won itSMF USA’s project of the year award in 2009); the design and implementation of the Business Systems Hosting service for ex-Thomson Financial Technical Operations; the creation of the ex-TF Technical Account Management service; the implementation of Knowledge Management within ex-TF Tech Ops; management of diverse technology teams ranging from system and network engineers to process analysts. Debbie is a founder, past president and current membership chair of the New York Local Interest Group.
