This is not a standard or conventional stand-up / facilitation of training
role. Instead, this is a unique and very exciting opportunity for someone
with the right skill-set, experience, and interest in designing, managing
and delivering a training strategy and curriculum on a company-wide scale.

We are seeking someone who is strategic and has held leadership roles in
training. This position will require someone who clearly understands how to
use structured analysis to develop training programs and who is up-to-date
on current training tools and techniques. This will require experience (in
conducting) and knowledge of gaps analysis, skill assessment and applicable
methodologies in the design / development of best-in-class training for a
diverse audience. While background in the industry would be helpful, it is
not mandatory.

This position is located in Western, Washington state with the expectation
that at least 30% of the time will be spent traveling to the company's seven
(7) plant locations on the West Coast (WA, OR, CA, UT, ID).

OVERALL ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

The design, development,* delivery, and management of training programs
across the company.

Qualifications:

We currently have 2 contract to
hire opportunities for Sr. Project Managers at a major company in King of
Prussia, PA. The Senior Project Managers will lead project teams to
deliver multiple, simultaneous projects that span across several business or
technology areas. Candidates will be expected to effectively manage
resources, schedule and quality of deliverables through the full project life
cycle (discovery, analysis, design, construction, test and
implementation.) The candidate will often work in close coordination with
the Online Business Manager (OBM) to successfully manage and deliver web store
products to new partners. The Senior Project Managers will also be
expected to contribute to the development of a project management methodology
and assist in the construction of a formalized program office. This
position will report to the Director of Business Analysis.


Required Education/Experience:

A senior project manager will be
expected to have superior proficiency in the following areas:

Project Management - This position will have accountability for the
successful delivery of multiple, simultaneous large projects. Candidate
will work together with business and technology leads to build well-structured
project plans that segment projects into pre-defined phases. A Senior
Project Manager will be expected to use expert communication and leadership
skills to establish a common understanding of project timelines, milestones,
and expectations on delivery. Candidate will provide direction to project
resources, monitor development efforts, assemble key project deliverables, and
intelligently identify issues requiring escalation when reporting project
status. Candidate will need to closely monitor change requests and
prevent unapproved requirement modifications that result in scope creep.
A Senior Project Manager will need to schedule and facilitate project status
meetings and advise management on the effects change requests will have on
schedule and resources. Candidate has the ability to communicate project
implementation options that affect cost, schedule, quality, and risk to
stakeholders, as well as offer recommendations based on these elements.
Candidate should have experience working with use case specifications, UML
models and a variety of project management methodologies. Ability to
follow the Rational Unified Process (RUP) using the Rational tool suite would
be of benefit.

Relationship Management - Should have ability to motivate and build
collaborative teams who are dedicated to project delivery. Candidate will
work in collaboration with the online business manager (OBM) when interfacing with
external business partners, internal business area experts, business analysts
and software development teams. Will need to set expectations among these
groups regarding scope, timeline and quality of deliverables.
Will need to work effectively with all groups to build work breakdown
structures (WBS), develop project plans and update project status.

Business Analysis - This
includes leading business analyst(s), on a per-project basis, in extracting
requirements from external stakeholders, internal business representatives, and
software development teams. The candidate will have significant influence
and will ultimately be responsible for the quality of requirement
deliverables. Candidate should have experience using UML, and building and
interpreting use cases.

Resource Management - For each project, candidate assists in identifying
the skills and resources needed for each stage in the project
lifecycle. He or she provides resource requirements per project and
motivates and manages those resources over the project duration.

vendors, and interest groups on topics involving associated fields of

Essential Job Functions:

* Managing the workflow and maintaining a trained and qualified
team. Create and manage a data production schedule for the
department according to contractual obligations and ensure data is
delivered accurate and timely

* Plays a role in industry conference planning and vendor
meetings including, vendor identification, logistical support,
presentation strategy, materials development and coordination across
trade relations.

* Ensure information necessary for loading a contract is
obtained from the appropriate Partners in a timely fashion, contracts
are loaded and maintained properly within Midas. Manage document flow
thru the department from initial receipt of agreement, contract review,

* Provide leadership in quality improvement by determining the
root cause of problems both internal and external to the department, and

* Proactively monitor contracts termination dates and initiate
renewals requests via assigned staff. Monitor key contract performance
metrics and strategic initiatives identifying positive and negative
trends proactively with VP of Contracts.

* Directly manage assigned Partner relationships

* Identify and triage all contract changes and identify changes
that impact each sales division, proactively communicate changes in the
urgent, time sensitive and informational time frames

* Develop sales and member communication in conjunction with
marketing based on new agreements and amendments.

* Track economic value departmental wins and losses providing
impact report to VP and SVP.

Job Requirements:

* BA/BS degree, medical sciences and/or Pharmacist Degree (Rph

* 7+ years managerial experience, with experience in customer

ROLE #1
 
The Applications Development team is responsible for the coding and integration of the various applications running on the diverse web site. The team works closely with the Project Management Office on approved scheduled projects and is generally responsible for:

eCommerce application development employing J2EE and Microsoft standards
Integrating vendor packages
Database modeling and scripting
System documentation
Production defect repair and enhancements
 
The Technology Service online environment consists of P690s running AIX, Websphere Application Server, Websphere Commerce Server, and DB2. There is a storage area network (SAN) based on IBM?s Shark and McData?s fabric switch.  The Windows environment is based on Intel servers and there is a legacy of Sun/Solaris, Oracle and ATG applications.  Networking and security are based on Cisco products.
 
KEY RELATIONSHIPS
The Developer will cultivate working relationships with various teams within the Technology Service Group and other divisions. These include:

All members of the Technology Service Applications Development team.
Members of the  Technology Service Network Operations team.
Members of the PMO team (e.g. Project Managers).
Business units, backend systems, customer service teams, production support teams, external vendors and consultants.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Work as technical lead, architect, hands-on developer, and contributing team member.
Evaluate business and technical requirements in order to write and implement technical specifications related to the company?s web initiatives.
Work with other members of the Applications Development team to implement technical specifications.
Partner with functional groups both internal  (e.g., project management, network operations) and external vendors in order to provide tightly integrated solutions between the web applications and the legacy backend systems.
Demonstrate expertise in the technologies chosen for developing  web application solutions (e.g., J2EE applications, Websphere App Server, WebSphere Commerce, Interwoven TeamSite, GWT, Endeca Search Engine, GWT, Ajax, EJB, Struts, MQ, LDAP, DB2, Oracle, SQL Server database).
Author application code both collaboratively and independently while ascribing to best practice version control and development methodologies
Design and build applications for scalability and redundancy.
Adhere to industry standards -defined guidelines and principles for software engineering.
Quickly ascertain existing applications and underlying codes and architecture in order to aid in defect detection and resolution.
 
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Key characteristics contributing to the success of the Developer include the ability to be flexible, accountable, and reliable and work effectively as part of a cohesive team.

BA or BS degree.
5+ years? experience with J2EE applications in a UNIX/Linux environment.
3+ years? experience with Websphere App Server, and WebSphere Commerce.
2+ years? experience with EJB, Struts, MQ, JMS, DB2, XML, Web Services
Experience with Interwoven TeamSite, GWT, Endeca Search Engine, GWT, Ajax, LDAP, Oracle, SQL Server database, SVN
Working knowledge of best practice development methods, including version control, regression testing, and exposure to test driven development.
Solid understanding of error identification including log evaluation and technology tools in aiding the development process of large applications.
Advanced exposure to both server and client side considerations in e-commerce application development.
