1. Position Description: ERP (prefer SAP) Architect/Technolog y
Specialist
Key: Tech Architect in SAP (or other major ERP) Environment

Responsibilities:

Understand the company's business strategy, operating vision, business
imperatives and capabilities and how they affect technology initiatives
Consult with customers across multiple sites, multiple disciplines and
multiple countries to define the technology components that support and
enhance the application strategies
Defines technology standards that are scalable to satisfy ever changing
business needs while reducing IT investment and support costs
Perform hardware sizing and capacity planning as required to support the
overall solution environments including back-ups, disaster recovery, and
system performance
Identify and resolves technology issues that affect overall solution
integrity
Identify and evaluate new technologies that can provide competitive
business value and marketplace advantage; consult with customers to
develop technological assessments and vendor due-diligence; assess new
technology return, readiness, risks and relevance
Work with the support unit to determine how the applications are
supported in non-production and production
Advocates and enforces applicable standards, policies, procedures, and
best practices in the implementation and/or maintenance of application
or application modules
Demonstrates proficiency in areas of business continuity, security and
data privacy; ensures systems are designed and built with appropriate
levels of protection

The Program will implement multiple new SAP systems and bolt-on
applications. The technology architect is responsible for identifying
opportunities to create business value and defining the system
capabilities necessary to realize these opportunities. The technology
architect designs integrated technology solutions that can scale to meet
the future needs of the business in an efficient, sustainable, agile and
adaptable manner. The technology architect partners with other
architects to assess the alignment of individual projects to the overall
architectural blueprint and release plan.

Position Requirements
Minimum of 10 years related professional experience
Minimum of 7 years systems development and implementation experience in
advanced technology areas such as J2EE, LDAP, XML, EAI, Archiving,
Document Management
Demonstrated ability to transform customer requirements into technology
designs
Demonstrated ability to integrate the technical architecture
requirements
for the development, execution, and operations environments
Facilitation experience for conducting requirements gathering and
stakeholder agreement meetings
Ability to manage all facets of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Ability to support a multi-site, multi-country customer base
Ability to work in a team environment, effectively interacting with
others
Results oriented and demonstrates a "can-do" attitude - adaptability,
flexibility and resourcefulness

2. Position Description: SAP FS-CD Lead/ Associate Information Officer;
Systems Design & Development
Key: Major ERP (prefer SAP) AND strong Insurance/Reinsuran ce,
specifically Collections and Disbursements experience

Responsibilities:

-Leads the team responsible for providing SAP application support to the
Insurance Collections and Disbursements business functions
-Oversees efforts of a team of people (8-12); acts as the supervisor of
this group; provides leadership, guidance, and direction to staff
-Understands and operates under budgetary guidelines and manages
expenditures according to budget
-Manages single program or portfolio of small to medium projects;
responsible for Project Management activities including establishing
project objectives and scope, monitoring and tracking progress to plan,
and managing resources/assignmen ts
-Manages teams activities within agreed upon scope, timelines, and
budgets; ensures successful outcomes through proficient management of
resources and timely resolutions of issues
-Coaches and mentors team members with regards to current performance
and future development; stretches individual team members to achieve
outside their comfort zone; motivates team to achieve challenging
objectives while fostering a high degree of team satisfaction
-Partners with peers when coordinating initiatives across IS functions;
secures the involvement and participation of other IS organizations, as
needed, to deliver high quality application solutions and support
-Manages vendor performance and contract compliance
-Establishes formal relationships and service level agreements with
customers and suppliers
-Consults with customers across multiple sites, multiple disciplines,
and multiple countries to develop IS tactics that support and enhance
the business strategies

Position Requirements
-Minimum of 10 years related professional experience
-Minimum of 5 years related SAP or comparable ERP experience; Minimum of
5 years managing a team of 5 or more
-Managed a team through 2 or more ERP implementations and/or upgrades
-Understanding of Insurance Collections & Disbursements business
processes.
-Understanding of Reinsurance business processes.
-Ability to build relationships and manage key vendors
-Ability to manage all facets of the System Development Life Cycle
(SDLC)
-Ability to support a multi-site, multi-country customer base
-Ability to work in a team environment, effectively interacting with
others
-Must know what satisfies customers and make customer satisfaction a
high priority for self and team
-Must be results oriented, and demonstrate a "can-do" attitude -
adaptability, flexibility and resourcefulness
