Job Description

The Rational System Administrator will support ongoing production
maintenance and phased rollout implementation of the Rational Product Suite:
Clear Quest, Clear Case, Requisite Pro, Functional Tester, Test Manager and
Quality Manager in support related systems. The primary responsibilities
include: Administering Clear Case including VOB creation, view creation,
server administration, user administration, client install and setup;
Administering Clear Quest including product support, server administration,
user administration, schema migrations, and problem and issue management;
Administering Rational requirements & test tools, including Test Manager,
Functional Tester, Manual Tester and Requisite Pro; Integration of the
entire Rational Tools Suite in a UCM environment; Providing excellent
support of the Rational Suite to all end users.

Essential Skills

Experience with Clear Case and Clear Quest administration and user support;
Experience in the administration of Rational test tools; Experience in
Universal Customer Master (UCM); Understanding of Software Development
lifecycle (SDLC) and Configuration Management; Knowledge of the Windows
Operating System and Oracle Database; Professional, self-motivated and able
to prioritize and manage multiple tasks concurrently; Excellent
communication, customer service and problem skills essential; Strong
training and presentations skills preferred.

The Senior PeopleSoft HRMS Business Analyst employs extensive functional
knowledge of PeopleSoft 8.9 HCM modules (HR, Benefits, North American
Payroll, Time and Labor, eProfile, ePay, Manager Desktop) and PeopleSoft
Portal 9.0 support. S/he will have overall responsibility for gathering
requirements, documentation, design, and testing.

KEY RELATIONSHIPS
The Senior Business Analyst works closely with HRIS, Business and IT
communities as well as internal business users and external vendors.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
� Provide functional and technical subject matter expertise on the
capabilities and integration of the PeopleSoft HCM application
� Collaborate with business and technology leads to capture and document
requirements for all deliverables (business cases, process, analysis,
functional requirements, and testing).
� Facilitate joint planning, application, and functional design sessions to
support cross-team alignment.
� Analyze findings to develop an end-to-end solution, applying business
process re-engineering with use of new systems or enhancements to existing
applications.
� Build use cases and models to depict process flows by using a combination
of graphical information and text in natural language to convey business,
system and functional requirements to business and technical staff.
� Proactively identify data issues and collaborate with technology lead to
mitigate the risks by proposing data rationalization and clean up
strategies.
� Work with technical team members through the detailed design phase to
ensure proper current and future interpretation of business requirements.
� Partner with business users to successfully interpret needs and
requirements.
� Plan and meet business objectives while managing multiple tasks and
priorities.
� Works with HRIS to test and gain user acceptance of all development.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
� Bachelors Degree or equivalent combination of education and work
experience.
� Certified Business Analyst (desired)
� 5+ years� experience with SDLC, system development methodologies,
requirements gathering, documentation of procedures and technical
specification writing relative to the support of HCM 8.9.
� 2+ years� knowledge of delivered HCM 8.9 functionalities, its business
processes and underlining setup and functional/technical configuration
(PeopleSoft HCM 8.9 for HR, Benefits, North American Payroll, Time and
Labor, eProfile, ePay, Manager Desktop).
� Proven expertise in PeopleSoft HCM implementation and upgrade support as
well as patch/fixes analysis, analyze production architecture and process
methodologies.
� Superior consultative, interpersonal, communications and presentation
skills.
� Strong analytical, problem solving and debugging skills.
� Experience in project management, time and budget scheduling and resource
allocation.
� Knowledge of standard software development methodologies, RUP, UML, SDLC.
� Additional technical experience:
� PeopleSoft HCM 8.9 functional certification
� Design, customization, and implemention of PeopleSoft Portal 9.0
self-service functions
� PeopleTools 8.47, 8.49
� Integration Broker, Application Messaging, SMTP Services
