We are conducting a search for a Director of Sales & Staffing on behalf of our client, an established IT products & services firm.   The position needs to be commutable to White Plains NY or Edison NJ.
We are seeking an experienced sales person with at least five years experience selling IT products & services to expand our client base in the Northeast. The right candidate will be a  "player-coach"  who aspires to lead a team of 2-3 sales people and  2-3 recruiters. 
Position Requirements
·         Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years experience in sales of IT products & consulting services.
·         Experience selling to all levels of client management.
·         A persistent, persuasive (won't take no for an answer) sales approach
·         Ability to hunt, open and identify key buyers in new accounts.
·         Ability to be creative in dealing with objections, mitigating blockers (VMS, HR groups, vendor lists)

I am excited to be working with a wonderful client in the Santa Cruz area of California. The CIO is a terrific guy, the company benefits are stellar and they are willing to relocate the right people. We have 2 NEW needs with them right now....literally, just hung up with the CIO and here is a bit about each of the roles.....
 
Sr Director IT Operations & Infrastructure
They are running VM Ware and Cisco environment. They have 1 AS400 which is a 24x7 operation. (5 folks on rotating shifts to support this)
They have a distributed environment with 300 + retail locations in North America. They have 2 DataCenters- 1 at corporate and 1 in Arizona.
They have 2 Distribution Centers- 1 East Coast and 1 West Coast.
4000 users overall including stores and 400 in corporate.
This person will oversee a team of 16 people, 2 of which are Managers and direct reports. This role will report directly to the CIO and will be responsible for setting strategy on the Operations and Infrastructure side of the house. Evaluating what they have currently and make recommendations.
Needs to be someone who can pick up the ball and run with it. Detail oriented, structured approach, strong follow through, and excellent communication skills.
Retail experience is a MUST.

JOB DESCRIPTION 

Lead project to increase efficiency and scalability of new business processing for life insurance applications by replacing new business processes and systems (case management, underwriting and cashiering) with new vendor product new business accelerator software as the core foundation, implementing a field-facing portal for insurance application entry and case management, and introducing DST's Automated Workflow Distributor (AWD) to allocate work and reduce paper handling. 

 

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

 

·         Leader skilled and responsible for partnering with the project owner/sponsor and all stakeholders to create and implement appropriate and cost efficient solutions based on business objectives.

·         Acts as project manager, with leadership responsibilities for a matrixed team on medium to large sized projects.  Manages results as outlined in the project's triple constraints of budget, schedule and scope (quality/performance.)

·         Acts as program and/or relationship manager, with leadership responsibilities for supervising or tracking multiple projects simultaneously.  Manages dependencies within program's projects and to other projects as necessary.

·         Builds strong relationships with business and technology leaders.  Understands business area opportunities and challenges, process or system impacts to all related business or systems areas when implementing recommended solution to obtain business objectives.

·         Initiates and ensures project management, ProMPT methodologies. Change management procedures and supporting tools are used in executing all projects as appropriate.

·         Provides ongoing status updates on project progress, risks, change management and issue resolution.  Leads issue identification, tracking, escalation and resolution documentation.   Monitors risk events before becoming issues and potential roadblocks.

·         Manages deliverable estimation process, resource allocation and utilization efficiently and negotiates resource conflicts with other project managers or resources managers as appropriate.  Escalates to VP, PMO as necessary.

·         Communicates technical issues, impact, and risk mitigation strategies in business terminology that can be communicated to and understood by non-technical partners such as the steering committee. 

·         Creates and maintains project plans, and reviews them with the appropriate IM&T and business partners and steering committees. This includes tracking plans against agreed upon resource levels, timelines and budgets.

·         Responsible for facilitating vendor identification, selection and contracting with business owner, PML Vendor Management Office, Legal and Financial Operations.  Maintains ongoing management of vendor throughout the life of the project. 

·         Offers consultative mentoring, assistance or guidance to project community and junior level project managers in best practices for successful project delivery. 

·         Participates in and contribute to the improvement of the PML project methodology standards.

Our client, based in Woodcliff Lake, NJ is a leader in the field of marketing analytics within the auto industry.  They have an enviable reputation within their industry for excellence.    They have a newly opened position for a JAVA / AJAX Developer to help to launch and sustain one of their proprietary solutions in support of a key client.   

 
 The primary responsibility for the successful candidate will be to develop and implement the proprietary solution, help to launch the software and ensure the consistency and accuracy of data feeds for the local client.    This role will be located in their New Jersey Office.
 
 
Essential Roles and Responsibilities:

Participate in the development of design specifications for software to be delivered to the client

Participate in the launch and sustainment of the Proprietary Solution for the client

Develop software and provide technical support utilizing technical development software applications such as C#, ASP.NET, AJAX, JavaScript

Work with internal team members and clients to identify client needs and ensure congruence with technical development capabilities

Perform quality testing in collaboration with quality services staff to identify and correct defects in the developed software

Create necessary technical documentation in support of programming and design activities such as release notes, code comments, etc.

Interact with various client and internal subject matter experts to investigate inaccurate data feeds.

Plan, organize, develop and deliver client-requested projects and ad hoc requests within a prescribed time schedule. The client-requested projects  and requests will be used to communicate dealership performance to find profit, sales and efficiency opportunities related to after sales.

Use SQL Server to extract and manipulate data by writing queries, joining data sources, etc.

Focus on improving new and existing processes to effectively and efficiently communicate data from various sources.

Track, process, analyze and verify data using Microsoft products

Education and Experience:

Baccalaureate degree in a technical field (engineering, applied math, computer science, applied science, MIS, or other) from an accredited U.S. college or university, or equivalent foreign institution is required

Previous work experience as a Software Developer or equivalent position

Technical skills necessary to support client systems including C#, ASP.NET, JavaScript / AJAX technologies

SQL Server experience is required

Microsoft Word, Access and Excel skills are required

Experience with Excel Macros is preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

College level math skills and solid mathematical grounding required

Skills to execute simple statistical analysis software program and create scatter plots, bar charts and histograms

Knowledge of basic descriptive statistics

High knowledge level of relational databases, including creating and executing queries, creating scripts, importing/exporting data, triggers, functions, stored procedures, and manipulating data

Job Description                   A Health Care Company located in New York City is looking for a Business Analyst/Project Manager. The BA/PM will
                                                  Support the CTO with Enterprise Business Intelligence activities.  She/He will assist with Data Governance and Business
                                                  Intelligence programs implementation.  BA/PM will act as the project lead in documenting and coordinating all project
                                                  Related tasks.
 
                                                   Responsibilities:
 
                                                    Coordinate meetings with project stakeholders.
 
                                                    Participate in meetings and document meeting minutes.
 
                                                     Developing formulas to drive metrics and KPIs.
 
                                                      Design and Document Training Documentation.
 
                                                       Support training initiatives as requested.
 
                                                        Interact with EBI, facility and vendor project team members.
 
                                                        Document functional and business requirements/specifications as needed.
 
                                                         Participate in the planning, organizing and implementation of high-profile complex projects.
 
                                                         Oversee/manage tech project development.
 
                                                          Serves as a liaison between EBI, CIS, HHC Networks/facilities and Managed Care organizations.  Analyze and improve
                                                          Quality and availability of the data within the firm's information systems.  Serve a a project manager to ensure
                                                          Communication, accountability and work plan completion.
 
                                                           Analyze data exchange requirements between information systems, Managed Care Companies and outside agencies.
 
                                                            Recommend interface/integration approaches.  Promote standardization of interfaces to facilitate data accuracy and consistency.
 
Skills Required                               Five or more years of combined education and business experience with at least three years of experience with
                                                             Computer technology and application systems.
 
                                                              Three or more years in public health, health administration, business administration or information technology required.
 
                                                               Advanced analytical skills to resolve difficulty problems.
 
                                                                Experience with Document management software, Issue Tracking Software is necessary plus (Windows SharePoint
                                                                Services is preferred).
 
                                                                 Three or more years of experience in Project Management, experience in a PMO is a plus.
 
                                                                  Experience managing systems and programs across all areas of the full Software Development Life Cycle Methodology (SLDC).
 
                                                                   Experience using project planning tools (MS Project and Office Project server preferred).
 
                                                                    Minimum two years as a business analyst documenting IT applications.
 
                                                                      Minimum two years with Oracle 11g and other BI tools.
 
                                                                      Experience utilizing Microsoft Office and SharePoint products.
 
                                                                       Understanding of Business Intelligence, Data Goverance and Maste and Master Data Management is essential.
 
                                                                        Experience with data collection from electronic medical records and data analysis is required.
 
                                                                         Prior Healthcare Informatics Experience working in the development, analysis and implementation of information systems
                                                                          In a health-care environment of analyzing public health data is necessary.
 
Salary Range                                                This is a temporary position which will pay up to $75 an hour Corp to Corp and less for W-2.
