Work within a multi-department team to effectively prepare internal and external users for new releases. Provide creative and organizational communication services within the company, including co-management of corporate intranet. Work as part of team to maintain corporate web presence, including social media presence. 

Required Education: 

Bachelor’s degree or higher 

Required experience/skills: 

- 4-6 years professional experience in the creation and maintenance of end user documentation. 

- Advanced skills, Microsoft Office suite 

- Advanced skills, Robohelp (or similar help authoring system) 

- Extensive experience in online knowledgebase creation & maintenance 

- Comfort with HTML and technologies used to create browser-based content. 

Desirable experience/skills: 

- Experience working within a software development cycle 

- Experience in financial/trading industry 

- Comfort with college-level mathematics 

- Experience creating client newsletters, quick reference cards, and other auxiliary end user materials 

- Experience developing and maintaining training course material 

- Print/Web graphics development

Job Description                A major Bank Holding Company is looking for an Oracle Consultant in Jersey City.
 
                                               Responsibilities:
 
                                               Create physical data models using industry standard tools, e.g. ER/Studio
 
                                               Code packages, functions, stored procedures, views in Oracle PL/SQL
 
                                                Performance/Tuning of Oracle SQL
 
                                                 Physical architecture of database table, partitions, load balancing, parallel queries, etc.
 
                                                 Code Review of store procedures and scripts written by other team members.
 
                                                  Implement enhancements in the existing infrastructure by introducing the industry standard tools like Informatica.
 
                                                  Establish design guidelines and release management procedures in US in collaboration with the Singapore team.
 
                                                  Effectively work with t he internal and external auditors and resolve any audit queries as a result of the exams.
 
                                                  Work on the delivery of various projects and minor work enhancements within the Regulatory space that are catered
                                                  Towards automation and improve submission timeliness and capital usage efficiency.
 
Skills Required                      7+ years of IT industry experience in software development.
 
                                                    7+ years understanding of Oracle 10/11g from a Development perspective.
 
                                                     7+ years understanding of Data Warehouse and Data Mart concepts with proven experience in both.
 
                                                     2+ years Informatica Experience.
 
                                                      Preferred Qualifications:
 
                                                      Expertise in SQL and PL SQL
 
                                                       Preferably in the data warehouse space
 
                                                       Strong Data modeling background with emphasis on Physical modeling
 
                                                        Star schema
 
                                                         Physical architecture (partiioning, cluster)
 
                                                          Working with large databases â€" multi terabytes
 
                                                           Unix/Linux command line interface, shell scripting and perl scripting
 
                                                            Data Modeling skills using standard tools:  ER/Studio, ERWin, Enterprise Architect
 
                                                            Interpretation and understanding of functional specifications
 
                                                             Writing technical design documents, adhering to firm standards
 
                                                              Source code control tools such as Perforce
 
                                                               Experience with schedulers like Autosys
 
                                                                Familiarity with complex system integration and software development life cycles.
 
Salary Range                                      This is a Temporary Position which will pay up to $750 a day Corp to Corp and $600 for W-2.
