Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Excel and VBA Developer to perform enhancements to an internal fiscal planning system (AOP - Annual Operating Plan). The goal is to put in improvements to speed up the system's performance and capabilities.
Roles and Responsibilities:
· Analyze existing fiscal planning system
· Develop required enhancements, identify and improve inefficient processes, troubleshoot and resolve bugs during testing.
· Help modify/enhance existing system not a complete replacement.
Required Skills and Experience:
· 5+ years of strong Excel/VBA including macros and data feeds to and from application
· Finance and/or sales knowledge from business or IT perspective
· Understanding of a business planning cycle (e.g., budgets, latest estimates, forecasts)
· Experience automating manual processes
· CPG a plus
· Excellent communication skills with ability to work with minimal supervision

SAP Functional Analyst - Financials
Department: I.T.
Education: College degree.
Experience: 5+ years experience in MIS as either an analyst or a programmer. 2+ years experience managing projects and/or personnel. 5+ years working with SAP or equivalent ERP system in a consumer products business environment
Location: NJ
Salary: 110K Plus Bonus
Brief Description of Duties
Leads implementation and support of Financials processes in SAP
Main duties are:
· Provide leadership and "hands on" configuration for the SAP Financials modules
· Responds to all requests for SAP Financials system changes and support
· Works on opportunities identified by self and other business-facing IT personnel for process improvement through use of SAP Financials modules
· Work in partnership with other IT personnel to implement SAP Financials functionality in new version of SAP before, during and after the planned SAP technical Upgrade
Special Skills of Qualification Required:
Must have experience of implementing SAP Financials in the latest version of SAP as this is experience we do not have on our current team.
Degree & Financial/Accounting qualification preferred.
Comments in Support of Above Request: The biggest area of change between our current version of SAP and the new version we will be upgrading to is in Financials area.
We aim to first upgrade and then implement major enhancements in functionality that will improve the efficiency of our Finance Departments around the world and better ensure our compliance with country statutory requirement s around the world as well as the emerging global financial reporting standard, IFRS.
A team member who has experience in the new version of SAP Financials will be critical to our overall SAP Upgrade success.
