My client a Global leader in Investment and Consumer Banking is looking for Sr Project Manager for their team in NYC.
This Project Management role will be an integral part to a 2 year + initiative to build out a new reporting platform for Market Risk. The Project Manager will need to be able to multitask between several project initiatives . The ideal candidate should come from a technical background, have moved into a tech lead role and then become an a development manager. They will be tasked with the day to day running of projects, ensuring that issues are resolved and or escalated when necesarry and that project milestones are met.
Qualifications: This person needs to be able to keep the project on track, maintain project plans and sr management reporting as well as interact with the risk managers who will be the user base using the new framework as well as the short term tactical reports. General capital markets knowledge and ability to work with demanding clients. Pluses: general BI tools- (they are using microstrategy and netezza Prior experience working with traders and risk managers . Datawarehousing or Database skills
