Compliance Business Analyst -- NewYork, NY This is a long term contract position that may go right to hire.  Looking for a mid level BA, ideally someone with 3-5 years of experience in the areas of Information Security. Princeton Information is seeking a BA Compliance resource for the following -   Job Description Information Security and Continuity of Business are key components of the Client's continued success. The purpose of this job is to ensure, maintain and enforce policies and procedures with respect to Information Security. Candidate will also be hands on in the Management of IS\Technology Projects.   The job-holder will be responsible for the following activities: Documentation of  Information Security policies/procedures Check audit logs for the various applications used in the businesses and follow up any issues identified Co-ordinate Audit requests with internal and external audit groups Provide IS and Project metrics to the Technology Control Group and other Technology teams Follow-up Corrective Action Plan for technology and various businesses Support Project Management activities within the technology team Information Security Reviews of applications and systems. Lead and Coordinate IS and Technology Projects Required Background in Management Information Systems or Technology Exposure to Information Technology in a Financial company Business – experience in a financial/brokerage firm preferred. Good documentation skills both in terms of writing ability and competence with Microsoft Word Good communication and coordination skills Good spreadsheet skills especially MS Excel Information Security Background. Assessment Skills of applications, databases, OS Teamwork – will need to be able to work well with colleagues from a wide range of different backgrounds An ability and desire to become conversant with a wide range of systems and software applications Flexible - to react to changing priorities both within the businesses and within the IS world Good Communication skills – will need to be able to effectively communicate with IT/Business Qualifications: Information Security Background.
