OUR CLIENT HAS A 6 MONTH CONTRACT AND IS seeking a motivated and talented individual to join our Technology team in the Software Quality Management Group as a consultant. The position responsibilities include but are not limited to: · Creating and executing test scripts/plans/cases based on business requirements for our internal and external data Reporting system· Performing user acceptance and regression testing · Reporting and managing issues and test activities on a regular basis · Duties involve a high level of interaction with developers and end users Required Skills - SQL database language Required Experience Candidate must meet the following criteria: · 1-5 plus years of relevant IT experience · 1-5 plus years testing experience · Experience with developing test scripts and test plans - Experience with SQL queries · Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle · Familiarity with Processes and Procedures as they pertain to test and industry standards · Independent testing of Client Server based applications · Financial industry experience (stocks, options, futures) a strong plus · Must be self starter and have the ability to work independently and within a team · Strong analytical skills and multi-tasking required · Experience with QA automation tools a plus
