About Commercial Analyst PositionTo source one or more agreed upon categories regionally while supporting global goals. Must be able to deliver regional projects within the matrix environment of the global sourcing & procurement group in order to support business objectives by delivering the optimal cost and value benefits to the company. Must have a clear understanding of stakeholder needs and technical aspects of the sourcing & procurement function and related policies in order to organize, develop and manage projects efficiently to deliver products and/or services to clients. • Work as a team leader or team member in the Request for Proposal (RFP) process, researching stakeholder requirements and documenting RFP or obtaining quotes.Purchasing, vendor management, and license negotiation/management experience a MUST. • Ensure purchases for required goods or services are made by recommending appropriate supplier/s, costs, processes, etc. • Evaluate & analyze supplier proposals and contract negotiations. • Compare supplier prices and recommend new supplier solutions and new sources of supply • Coordinate purchasing activities to take advantage of global purchasing agreements and ensure Client approved suppliers are utilized when applicable • Review contracts and possess knowledge of purchasing contracts and contract terminology • Review and negotiate contracts identifying opportunities and risks • Develop/right size supplier base to meet quality and on time delivery requirements as well as developing new suppliers as required to meet stated objectives. • Evaluate and execute cost reductions and quality improvements • Seek savings opportunities and track savings If you are qualified, available, interested, planning to make a change, or know of a friend who might have the required qualifications and interest, please send me your updated resume, compensation history and contact details to discuss further.
