We are looking for someone for the following position based out of Middletown, NJ.  The hiring group focuses on the upfront planning, requirements, cost estimation, etc. and the requirements are both high-level and detailed. They are looking for System Engineers who have very detailed knowledge in the areas of IP Networking and Systems that perform IP Network Provisioning.  The actual job description is:

 

Systems Engineer:  Client is looking for SEs who have very detailed knowledge in the areas of IP Networking and Systems that perform IP Network Provisioning, to perform SE work for the Applications that Inventory, Provision, Configure the Layer 2 / Layer 3 Networks in AT&T, including network elements from leading industry vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, with routers based upon IP/MPLS protocols and standards. These Applications provision and configure AT&T's Enterprise Services such as IP MIS, AVPN, Ethernet, BVoIP, etc. on the L2/L3 Networks. Candidate must be subject-matter-expert in the above areas; and in addition have excellent SE skills in the areas of Application high-level and low-level Requirements, Design, Software Engineering, System Flows, Databases, etc. The job requires close working relationships with partnering organizations in AT&T, including Network/Labs, Product/Service and Care teams, understanding their needs, and delivering their needs via the Application System Requirements.
