Project Manager
Location: Jersey City, NJ
Project Details:
Project Manager needed to manage project of moving Databases from a Source Location to Target Location. The Database platforms represented are DB2 on AIX, Sybase, Oracle, and SQL server. Client needs to be out of Source Data Center by end of June 2010. The PM will manage a Lead Technical Database consultant, 5 Onsite DB Subs, and 2 Offshore subs to accomplish this Task.
Required Skills / Other Comments:
The Project manager should have experience on managing Database Migrations/Moving Database Servers from a Source Datacenter to a Target Datacenter. The Database platforms or DB2 AIX, Oracle, Sybase, and SQL Server. The PM should have experience managing DBA Sub-Contractors both onshore and offshore. The DBA sub-contractors will be performing the necessary Scripts to Power Down the servers at the Source Datacenter, Power Up the servers and the Target Datacenter, and Scripts to check the availability and health of the Database servers at the Target Location.
PMI Certification
Local - The PM must live in commuting distance of Jersey City, NJ and have experience managing Datacenter relocations with a focus on Database technologies.
