Job Description A major Foreign Bank Holding Company is looking for a CGI Project Manager in their New York office.
Job Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will Plan, manage and execute project management activities within small to Medium projects.
Applies appropriate methodology tools and templates for completing assigned project
Maintains project work plans and required deliverables
Project status reporting
Lead from either a business or Information Technology perspective
Orchestrates activities between multiple projects
Creates, facilitates, obtains approval and then communicates the Project Plan to the stakeholders of the project
Creates and communicates the appropriate Project Management Plans
Provides timely, accurate and relevant oral and written communications of assigned project meetings, status, Issues, risks and schedule.
Effectively manage the assigned project schedule, Risks, Issues, Scope and budget
Effectively manage the assigned project team members within a matrix organization
Effictively close out all assigned projects
Adheres to approved applications, tools and techniques
Continue to enhance business, technology and project management knowledge and skills related to various methodologies, Tools and practices through research opportunities, professional alliances, publishing and other networking.
Functions as back up to other Project / Program Managers as available.
Demonstrated understanding of various technologies such as applications, databases, networking, telecommunications and Connectivity.
Knowledge of systems development life cycle and its application to protect management efforts.
Skills Required Minimum of 6 years experience planning, organizing and executing projects or varying complexity
Demonstrated knowledge of project tools, techniques and practices
Ability to interact with all stakeholders as appropriate through emails, project management deliveralble as appropriate through Emails, project management deliverables and presentations
Experience managing teams (10+ members) ina matrix organization
Construct, manage and report on a project schedule
Proactively monitor and control all project aspects and provide corrective actions to appropriate stakeholders
Define and maintain overall scope of project.
Salary Range This is a Temporary position which will pay up to $450 Corp. to Corp. and less for W-2.
