Business Analyst: Business Decision Support Company Ashton Lane Group, Inc Location USA-NY-New York City Compensation Excellent Base & Bonus Position Type Permanent Employment type Full time Updated Feb 4, 2011 eFC Ref no 754838 Apply online Save this job Send to friend Print this job Share BA within the finance support team for a global investment bank Responsibilities: • Work with the user representatives to determine business requirements, considers alternative methods of resolving business issues, thorough consideration of implications of requirements to the business, including the identification of any potential issues or functional omissions. • Understanding business events and create corresponding accounting schemas • Liaise with the users for User Acceptance Testing and migration testing up to successful delivery of end product • Provide first line user support through training, research and responding to general queries. • Liaise with counterparts in business groups, IT and PMO organizations Requirements: • 3+ years of experience in business process engineering, business system analysis, and/or accounting • Experience in working on multi-faceted projects and/or work experience with business analysis and application testing • Knowledge of accounting system projects and accounting business processes within the financial services industry • Strong knowledge of Capital Markets.
