Job Description:
General Architecture
o Experience leading large program level architecture initiatives involving
many projects across business and technical domains.
o Ability to create architecture scope, lead and/or develop conceptual,
logical and physical architectures across business, application, data and
technology domains
o Ability to review ongoing and proposed projects to identify opportunities
for reuse and process improvement
o Ability to review project deliverables for completeness, quality, risk and
compliance with established project architecture standards and business
vision
o Ability to develop and manage all aspects of the architecture effort,
including the plans, interdependencies, schedule, roadmaps, budget, tools,
and required personnel
o Familiarity with EA Frameworks such as TOGAF and Zachman
o Familiarity with BPM / EA Tools such as IBM System Architect and IDS Sheer
ARIS

Business Architecture
o Business strategy analysis / Business Capability Identification
o Experience developing Value Streams and Value Driver analysis
o Experience with business process modeling using BPMN
o Experience with organization architecture mapping
o Basic understanding of Business Services concepts
o Experience implementing cross-application business processes
o Experience with BPMS/BRE tools and implementation

Application/Integration Architecture
o Experience implementing and designing enterprise integration architectures
& solutions
o Ability to define and communicate the "big picture" in terms of the
overall integration solution (both functional and technical components) and
break it down into smaller manageable work units
o Understanding of the concepts of re-use around applications & SOA services
and when to apply
o Ability to develop application architecture as new requirements arise
o Ability to identify, clarify, and resolve system development and
maintenance activity issues and risks, escalating them as needed
o Familiarity of MS SharePoint as an enterprise collaboration environment,
SAP ECC/Netweaver, and webMethods

Data Architecture
o Experience working with Data Architecture team to indentify linkages
between data architecture, business and application architecture components
o Understanding of master data strategies and information hubs

Technology Architecture
o Ability to maintain current knowledge of all relevant technology via
reference architecture and leverage for program architecture practices
o Ability to provide technical leadership on projects, including serving as
a resource to the project team and the client by evaluating and proposing
technical alternatives for resolving business and technology issues
o Ability to design and develop cost effective solutions that meet
functional, technical, and performance requirements
o Ability to map customer requirements to technology capability
o Ability to consult with and develop technical resources for methods,
procedures, and standards to use during design, development, and unit
testing phases of the project
o Ability to review technical documentation to verify compliance with client
requirements and established architectural standards and guidelines
