The company is committed to developing a core team of highly seasoned professionals. Position Chief Technology Officer We are seeking a highly talented, hands-on CTO with superior management skills. The CTO reports to the CEO. Principal Duties and Responsibilities · Design, develop and deploy a seamless virtual world user experience across multiple platforms to provide education, and entertainment to young children · Recruit and lead a `best and brightest' results-oriented technology team · Exploit emerging technologies and tools for generating highly interactive and scalable platforms to support the needs of high volume online players · Interface with highly innovative creativity, business development and operations teams · Identify inventive technology initiatives for both revenue generating and captivating content · Implement web analytics to support sponsor and advertising initiatives · Identify and manage external vendors and consultants · Develop short-term and long-term plans Skills · Innovative thinking with an in depth knowledge of state-of-the- art gaming and emerging web 3D technologies · Operate with a mindset of an entrepreneur with extensive technical expertise. · Superior organizational, conflict resolution, time management and negotiation skills · Ability to build rapport and work closely with the creative, business development and operations teams · Broad knowledge of web analytics · Compelling sense of urgency and ability to lead and motivate a team · Strong presentation skills a plus Experience * Minimum 10 years of experience in web development * Proven track record in designing, rapidly developing and deploying, highly scalable high volume multi-user systems across diverse platforms (including mobile) * Have made strategic decisions about architecture, approach and technologies * Have broad-based application development experience and the judgment to balance decisions against user experience, cost, and implementation challenges * Successfully built teams * Managed multiple outsourcing vendors * Current experience in digital media and mobile applications * Startup experience is a plus Education * Bachelors degree required * Computer science preferred Additional Information * No third party applications * Must be authorized to work in US Compensation Equity and salary MIS Ntwk Assoc Mtg Dates: Feb 9th Combined Dinner Mtg AWC - Rod Colon - Empowering Today's Professionals (ETP) Network Feb 16th - Tues - Bring 20 copies of your resume - 6 pm - Carnevale Center 10 Lenox Ave Pompton Lakes 07442 Rm 9 - plan to have dinner with us afterwards |
