Job Description:
There is an IMMEDIATE opportunity for a Computer Security Technician/Engineer in support of GCSS-J. You will work in a fast-paced, teaming environment to support the GCSS ISSM with developing policies, procedures and lockdown scripts on the GCSS suite of servers. Opportunity exists to learn new technology and to expand your skills.
o A full SECRET clearance is required; interim secret is unacceptable. YOU MUST POSSES DOD CLEARANCE IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS JOB!
o Candidate must possess excellent oral and written communication skills
o The candidate will be a member of the Security Team, whose responsibilities include: "white-hat" security testing of GCSS servers and other hardware/software to ensure a continuation of high-level system security; analyze all generated report files; coordinate with outside agencies, including DIA and software development teams on all security-related system-engineering aspects to ensure system security features are integrated with system design.
o Assist in writing UNIX shell lockdown scripts in order to automate the lockdown of GCSS servers. Research, analyze and submit a report on all applicable security vulnerabilities (ie: IAVA, CERT, application specific vulnerabilities, security vulnerability alerts and various security web pages) to ensure that security issues and concerns are addressed prior to system accreditation.
o Provide input to the database team on implementing security settings within Oracle database.
o This position consists of working both at the hands-on level and at the policy level.
o Qualifications for the applicant are an Associate Degree with 2 years of work experience or in lieu of Degree, a minimum of 4 years applicable work experience.
o 2 years of UNIX experience through systems administrator or systems security work
o Candidate should be familiar with DoD Directive 8500.1and Department of Defense Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP).
o Candidate should have a working knowledge of Microsoft operating system; domain server setup and management; active directory; an understanding of the Information Assurance Vulnerability Alert (IAVA) review and implementation process.
o Desired skills (any or all): Penetration testing; BEA Weblogic; Oracle; PKI implementation; Vignette, MetaMatrix, WebFocus; Global Combat Support System (GCSS); Global Command and Control System (GCCS) suite of applications; DISA experience.
Interview Process: Phone interview, than a face to face interview.

o Initiates Supplier invitiations/relationships Ariba Supplier Network, as required
o Sets-up supplier, supplier catalog information per client's Supplier Enablement Checklist
o Provide/Gather Supplier Enablment data required for setting up suppliers, catalogs via ASN (Test and Production accounts)

Skills:

The Senior Global Systems Integrator Alliances Manager (GAM) is an individual contributor role in the Alliance organization, reporting to the Senior Vice President of Worldwide Alliances. The primary role of the GAM is to implement, maintain, and develop partnering strategies with Global Systems Integrators (GSI), Regional Systems Integrators (RSI) and Boutique Systems Integrators (BSI). Systems Integrators include companies such as; Accenture, Cognizant, Tata, Wipro, Keane, VIP, Myer-Holum and etc.
Responsibilities include:
• Serve as the primary business interface and business lead between Syncsort and its System Integrator Partnerships worldwide
• Manage all aspects of key partner alliance in the field; spend maximum time at alliance partner's corporate headquarters communicating corporate values to management and sales force
• Build revenue and sales business plan for each assigned alliance partner in order to measure success
• Provide feedback to the executive team and the alliance partners for the purpose of improving the effectiveness and reults of the alliances
• Works closely with sales managers and directors to drive pipeline and field engagement with key SI partners
• Achieve annual and quarterly revenue targets
• Be consistent in quarterly forecasting for assigned partners
Qualifications:
• 5-7 years experience in a business development or alliance role managing Systems Integrators
• Knowledge required in either Data Management software (Mainframe or Open Systems) or Data Protection software
• Proven success and strong comfort level with multi-tasking and changing directions quickly
• Experience with ROI and TCO value selling models
• Highly motivated and independent contributor
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and conflict management skills.
• Ability to understand & represent a partner's view within the organization.
• Ability to deal with ambiguity; be able to drive business decisions when factors are unknown or unclear
• Ability to think/act globally and drive the organization to make/execute the best decision for Syncsort overall
• Able to communicate complex business issues clearly and succinctly to senior management
• Substantial experience in negotiating, writing, and closing complex contracts
• Proven track records of exceeding goals successfully; bottom-line oriented.
• BS/BA; MBA desirable
• Must be willing to travel up to 50% of the time
