Job Description This position will be responsible for coordinating all IT Projects, Quality and GIA audits and the annual IT strategy process.

This position will ensure all projects follow the approved project methodology process and documentation requirements and that all appropriate staff have the necessary level of training and support.

This position will coordinate all audits and audit responses for both Quality and GIA as necessary.

This position will assist the AVP IT in the annual IT strategy and project prioritization process.

RELATIONSHIPS:
This position reports to the AVP Information Technology and will be a member of the IT leadership team. This position will work with all IT Directors, Project Managers, Managers of Business Analysis, members of the Quality Department and global IT Partners.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• IT Strategy
o Drives the annual IT strategy and project prioritization process
o Manage agenda's and document results of all Business Technology Steering Committee meetings
• PMO
o Drives IT Project Governance
? Evaluate timelines, budgets and scope
? Ensure all project documentation is complete and timely
? Ensure LoB communication
? Maintains standard project management practices and methodologies
? Monitors and reports performance
o Coordinate the IT project intake process
o Coach/Mentor Project Managers
? Approve project approach
? Develop project templates as needed
? Coach business project leads on the project management process.
o Coordinate all SMIC & ITC interactions
o Training
? Evaluate training needs
? Schedule classes
? Evaluate candidates for COPE
o Develop templates to be used across projects
o Participates in all change control meetings
• Quality & Audits
o Coordinate all Quality and GIA audits
o Ensure timely responses to all audit points
o Ensure compliance with all system validation requirements
o Report on ISOTRAIN compliance
o Periodically review adherence to SOP's

KEY SUCCESS FACTORS: EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
• Education: BS/MS/MBA degree in Computer, Natural Science, Math or Business Administration
• Experience: 10+ yrs related experience, of which 3-4 years in project management required
• PMP certification required
• Experience with IT strategy development and execution
• Specific or technical job skills:
o Extensive knowledge of project management and the development life cycle required
o Experience with GxP validation requirements
o Excellent skills with Microsoft Office

• Plans and manages projects which fully meet the business requirements within specified timelines, budget, and scope
• Collaborates internally and externally with multiple partners, including system integrators, other functional areas, and global IT PMOs to deliver quality solutions to the Novo Nordisk businesses
• Identifies and manages project risks and mitigating strategies
• Follows best practices, SOPs, ITPMM, and ensure that all validation and quality requirements are met and documented
• Communicates clearly with the oversight committee and stakeholders to update them on project progress and health (e.g., timeline, scope, budget, resources)

OTHER:
• Works within Novo Nordisk's established policies and procedures and ensures alignment of their work to Novo Nordisk fundamentals.

• Approximately 15% overnight travel
