Right Brain/Left Brain Leadership:
Shifting Style for Maximum Impact
What does it take to be a leader today? Right Brain/Left Brain Leadership: Shifting Style for Maximum Impact answers that critical question. In the language of leadership, this pragmatic guide provides an all-encompassing view of how to maximize brain power and get to next-level leadership impact.
Through realistic case examples, simple assessments, and unique learning tools,
Right Brain/Left Leadership takes you through a new process for examining your current leadership style and framing a plan for success. Through the use of popular leader exemplars, leadership cases, concise steps and summaries, you can, at virtually any stage of personal and professional accomplishment, become a more consummate leader.
Join us at the February meeting to participate in this interactive presentation where
Dr. Mary Lou Décosterd discusses the model, its impact on leadership development, and ultimately, how you and your organization can benefit from it.
Special Opportunity! Dr. Décosterd’s book, Right Brain/Left Brain Leadership: Shifting Style for Maximum Impact, will be available for purchase at the meeting.
About the Program

Right Brain/Left Brain Leadership begins with a review of current research on the brain and brain power specifically targeted to what leaders need to know. A model identifying ten full-spectrum behaviorsâ€"the must-have leadership skill listâ€"is presented along with ways to develop and leverage those skills and challenges. Ways to shift your style and accessing “alter-brain” behaviors are described. Learn about your leadership style, strong suits, and common pitfalls and how to shift your style, right or left, for maximum leadership impact.
You will leave the workshop with a clearer understanding of your current leadership style and ways to shift your style to maximize your impact for yourself, your organizations, and your learners. You will learn:

how to use the “Right Brain/Left Brain Leadership” model to enhance your style
new ways to build your competence aligned with the ASTD Competency model
