BA Job Description: As a business analyst the individual will collaborate closely with business and technology customers in the implementation of technical solutions on our middle office suite of applications. Primary Responsibility: * Maintain the customer relationships for the development team. This role will interface with Senior Management in both business and technology groups. * Effectively prioritize feature requests and break these requests into small deliverables. * Provide clear documentation that can easily be distilled into automated tests for new and existing functionality. * Provide documentation as necessary in the development lifecycle. * Work closely with analysts and developers to ensure that practical solutions are provided on a regular basis. Requirements: * Past experience in a technology analyst role. * Previous experience with a SCRUM-like planning cycle and story writing. * Demonstrated aptitude for solving problems. * Preference will be given to candidates that understand the FX, derivative, fixed income and/or equity trading markets. * SQL skills, MS Excel, and MS Word proficiency. * Strong understanding of the software development life cycle with previous experience in iterative development. * Prefer knowledge of scripting languages or testing tools such as Silk Test or QTP.
